June Afternoon

Capturing that feeling of summer freedom with the warm sun and running through the wildflower fields looking at the shapes in the clouds. Several layers of oils were used to build up the clouds against the bright blue sky to achieve color vibrancy and lighting then topped off with impasto brushstrokes for depth and texture.
