This painting represents the center of Vicenza at 11.00 pm with the addition of a surreal detail, the chameleon. An animal that lives freely in tropical countries but that has been inserted in this context to give a bit of surreality to a splendid nocturnal landscape where the chameleon perfectly copies the colors that surround it.
