This is a plein air painting done in Estes Park, Colorado, during the Estes Park Plein Air Competition. The focal area is the famous Stanley Hotel the rests near the center of downtown Estes Park. It took me a few hours over two separate days due to weather changes between Sun and Cloudy during the painting times. I needed the sun!
