I noticed these two men engrossed in conversation when I was at another table for my birthday dinner. Something about them intrigued my interest and I’m left to wonder about their relationship and situation. I loved the light coming through the wine racks behind them, lighting up their evening. I experimented by masking the bottle labels with Nichiban tape and then painted loosely over the tape.
