The Elder

I love painting human figures and particularly female faces.
While I was painting this elderly lady with a kind look, I imagined the loving gaze of a grandmother, and I wanted to represent what could be the grandmother of all of us.
The furrows in her face tell a story, as does her look of infinite love.
