Softly Beneath the Evening Sky

As I walked along the beach, I was inspired by the beautiful contrast created by the fading light. The surf was in shadow while the clouds were illuminated in soft pastel colors. I wanted the viewer to share in this contrast between the tonal handling of the surf and the color above.
