Acrylic on prepared panel - The combination of the rustic beauty of these weathered Jerry cans, atop this concrete wall, and the way that the conditions & daylight were just so that, in that moment, they were creating an almost illuminated, subtle rainbow against the bright blue sky. Moments like these that fill me with such a sense of wonder, making me stop in my tracks to marinate in just a little longer, are the ones that I am most deeply moved to explore and try to do justice to through my work.
