Painted from the Camping ground on the shores of Lake Wanaka. I was travelling home from another painting spot and the light over the distant Mountains and lake enthralled me, so I stopped off and ask permission from the campground managers to set up and paint. This was painted Alla Prima. Timing was perfect, as just as I finished the wind got up. Oil on primed board. The dimensions are the painted image, ( frame extra)37
