Foxy Lady

I sometimes wonder how we look at animals as commodities. We anthropomorphize them and say they are cute. That is until they do something true to their nature, like attack our chickens or eat bloody meat.

This series uses the juxtaposition of Persian carpets to portraits of animals to explore our relationship to animals. The reference for this painting is from my lovely niece, who besides being a lovely photographer is a nurse up in Churchill Manitoba. That's where the Polar Bears are.
