Oil on Linen capture of the Albemarle Sound in Northeastern NC. One of my favorite places to go and paint. This studio piece done mostly with the palette knife is from several Plein Air studies done in the last year. The old cypress trees scatter the shoreline and cast beautiful shadows on the sandy beach.
