This lavender farm in the Adirondacks was just so incredibly beautiful. I wanted to capture the intensity of the color in the fields and wish I could share the scent I was enjoying as I was painting. The color was so bright, and I enjoyed using every violet, pink and magenta in my palette. Even the green in the grass seemed to glow as brightly.
