Meandering Little Brook

This little brook was shimmering in the light as the sun peaked through the trees in the woods. This day was very hot and while choosing a place to paint, I found a sweet cool spot to set up my gear. The dappled light was changing constantly, but I wanted to capture how the water delicately danced over the rocks. It almost seemed to be golden touches as the cool water cascaded over every stone. It just seemed so relaxing to watch as I painted and I wanted to share that feeling in my painting.
