Golden Hour

I love chasing light at a moment’s notice, and was lucky my brother-in-law didn’t hesitate to catch this last light in late summer while driving home from dinner one evening. The sky began to literally glow over a field on our way home. Jumping out of the car as fast as he could pull over, I took several photos as the violet and orange danced together and set the sky ablaze. This painting was inspired by several photographs taken that evening.
